Republican Candidate for House District 28
Returning the Power to the People
For far too long, federal pressure and big bureaucracy have eroded the foundations Wyoming families depend. This erosion comes on under the guise of 'necessary funding and services' or 'common sense reforms' when in reality, without true reforms, the money goes to ever growing bureaucracy. In House District 28, we know what works: limited government that protects our rights.
Career politicians and unelected bureaucrats have been spending recklessly, stripping away our liberties, and forcing the people to serve top-down mandates rather than them serving the people they are meant to represent.
Agriculture is a corner stone of this district. I will always defend Wyoming’s agricultural producers against burdensome regulations and bureaucratic overreach that threaten our grazing rights, water rights, and our ability to make a living on the land.
• Energy Independence: Wyoming’s oil, gas, and coal power our state and our nation. I will fight to keep Cheyenne from bowing to out-of-state environmental agendas so we can maintain affordable energy and good-paying jobs for our families.
• Parental Rights & Education: Parents—not bureaucrats or Washington special interests—know what is best for their children. I will support school choice, protect parental authority, and ensure our kids are taught Wyoming values instead of the radical ideologies being enforced by those who would bow to federal funding mandates.
• Public Lands & Multiple Use: Much of our district is public land. I will work to keep it open for grazing, hunting, recreation, and responsible development rather than locking it up under one-size-fits-all federal rules.
Wyoming was built by hard-working, free people—not by government mandates. If elected to represent House District 28, I will stand firm for limited government, fiscal responsibility, and the individual freedoms that make our way of life possible.
Private Property Rights and Taxes
Private property rights are the cornerstone of our freedom here in Wyoming. As a rancher, I see this issue clearly —working the same land my family has stewarded for generations in Big Horn county we continually watch the tax bill increase while government services stagnate or decrease.
The days of landowners “renting” their own property from the government must end. If you have to keep paying the state or risk losing your land, do you really own it? That’s not the Wyoming way.
Right now, over-spending and growing bureaucracies are driving up property taxes, squeezing hardworking families, ranchers, and seniors. The money taken from our land and homes more often than not goes to fund more bureaucracy instead of serving the people. We need real reform that efficientizes government and treats us as true owners, not tenants writing endless checks.
I will fight for meaningful property tax reform that:
• Protects family homes, farms, and ranches from unfair burdens
• Stops the cycle of ever-growing bureaucracy, creating an efficient government that works for you
• Rewards those families who invest in Wyoming, not bleed them dry
I will push back hard against every attempt to erode our God-given right to own and control our private property. These rights are slowly eroded by those who claim the need for 'funding of necessary infrastructure' while the money is often spent on ever growing bureaucracies. Do you think our forefathers would really want this tax and waste reality?
This is about keeping Wyoming strong for the next generation—where families can pass down their homes and land without the government constantly taking more and more through taxes. If elected, I’ll stand with you to defend true private property ownership and bring common-sense reform to property taxes.
Second Amendment
The U.S. Constitution is crystal clear: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Wyoming’s own Constitution, Article 1, Section 24, reinforces it: “The right of citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and of the state shall not be denied.”
As a rancher who openly carries every day while working the land, I don’t just support the Second Amendment — I live it. In our rural communities across Hot Springs, Big Horn, Fremont, and Park counties, firearms are tools of self-reliance, protection for our families and livestock, and a fundamental check against tyranny. We don’t need permission from anyone to defend what’s ours.
I will do everything in my power to keep the Second Amendment strong and uncompromised. That means:
• Opposing any and all infringements — whether it’s gun registration, red flag confiscation schemes, or federal overreach disguised as “common sense” rules.
• Fighting to protect concealed carry rights.
• Standing against any attempt to create new gun-free zones that leave law-abiding citizens defenseless.
• Supporting full enforcement of Wyoming’s Second Amendment Protection Act so no state resources or personnel are used to help enforce unconstitutional federal gun grabs.
The right to keep and bear arms isn’t a privilege granted by government — it’s a God-given right that predates the Constitution. I will never trade our freedoms for false promises of safety from bureaucrats who’ve never walked a fence line or protected their own herd.
In District 28, we understand that an armed and responsible citizenry is the ultimate guardian of liberty. If elected, you’ll have a fighter in Cheyenne who will never back down when it comes to protecting our God-given right to defend ourselves, our families, our ranches, and our way of life.
The Second Amendment shall not be infringed — not on my watch.
Sanctity of Life
I believe every human life is a sacred gift from God, worthy of protection from conception to natural death. In Wyoming, where we value faith, family, and personal responsibility, the sanctity of life is not up for debate or subject to changing cultural trends. It is a timeless truth rooted in our Christian heritage and the moral foundation that built our state.
I will always vote to protect the unborn and defend the dignity of every life. No government should treat innocent life as disposable, and I will stand firm against any efforts to normalize abortion in our state.
Life and liberty go hand in hand. Just as we cherish individual freedom and agency—the God-given ability to choose between right and wrong—we must also uphold the fundamental right to life itself. When we fail to protect the most vulnerable among us, we erode the very principles of human dignity that make a free society possible.
In House District 28, we understand the importance of strong families and raising the next generation on the land we love. I am committed to supporting policies that protect life, empower parents, and reject the idea that government or convenience can override the value of a human soul.
If elected, you can count on me to be a consistent voice for the sanctity of life in Cheyenne—voting to protect the innocent wherever possible and working to make Wyoming a place where every child is welcomed and valued.
Cannabis
I believe the Wyoming Constitution is clear on this issue. Article 7 charges the legislature with promoting the health and morality of our people. It is not the legislature’s job to legalize cannabis. If the people of Wyoming want access to cannabis, it is their right to pursue that change through the proper avenues at their disposal — not through top-down mandates from Cheyenne that override our moral foundation.
Disclosure on a 2022 Indictment
In 2020, I grew hemp in Wyoming under a valid state permit issued by the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. Every test conducted by the WDA testing agent on my crop came back clean and fully compliant. I successfully harvested and sold the legal hemp crop throughout 2021 and 2022.
During the shipping process I became a victim of law enforcement mistakenly identifying my crop as marijuana. This led to an indictment being issued. After further review, all charges were dismissed. The case was expunged by the court, and the judge explicitly ruled that “such case shall be deemed not to have occurred.”
Wyoming families, ranchers, and communities deserve leaders who are transparent and who stand for the moral principles that built our state. If you have questions please feel free to reach out.
